TRAFFIC CHANGES ARE BEING IMPLEMENTED AT RANGE ROAD MOVING THE HIGHWAY ACCESS POINT 100 M NORTH.

About 800 metres of the new 1.1 kilometre Dundoo Reach local access road will open to traffic in July 2016, weather permitting. The existing intersection of the highway and Range Road will be temporarily closed. A temporary intersection with the highway will be opened at the northern end of the completed section of the local access road.
Traffic on the Pacific Highway will be temporarily moved onto the future service road and southbound off ramp (see attached map). The traffic switch will allow work to proceed on the interchange and the new highway in this area. This arrangement will be in place for about one year.
Preparation work including line marking will take place out of hours between 6pm and 7am the night before to minimise traffic impacts. Reduced speed limits of 60km/h and 40km/h will be in place.
Electronic message signs will be used on the highway to advise motorists of the changed traffic arrangements.

CHANGES TO SCHOOL BUS SERVICES.
During this time, Ryans Bus Service will pick up school students in the morning at the new temporary
intersection of the highway and the local access road. For their afternoon service buses will continue to drop students off at the existing bus shelter on Range Road. There will be no change to the Sahdra Bus Servicehalfway-creek-to-glenugie-notification-letter-july-2016_002
