Work continues at the Community Hall, today a small group of dedicated locals stripped out the old kitchen prior to setting up in the new additions. Thanks to Bunnings Warehouse who donated most of the cupboards and to BS kitchens who supplied (at cost) the bench top, pantry and fitted a couple of large drawers.

Work has commenced on the preliminary work for the Highway upgrade with construction of a new school bus stop and turning area adjacent to the Community Hall well underway, as is the work site area near the old Halfway Creek School and north bound rest area at the Coles/Shell Servo.
