Halfway Creek Markets
The 2019 Summer market was quieter than usual with a few regular stall holders missing, the hall had an extended bric a brac stall which was well supported. Thanks to those who helped clear out some of our stored treasures. There was plenty of bargains to be had and most enjoyed a cuppa and snack from Tony & Liz's upgraded kitchen. December market: raffle prizes donated by Jack’s Eggs – Veggie/fruit/egg baskets won by Val D and Julie D, and 3rd prize a gift basket of sauces and relishes won by Graeme.
The next Halfway Creek Community Hall Market will be held on Sunday 1st March. Please come.
Members of the Halfway Creek Rural Fire Brigade were on hand assisting with the market operation and ready to offer information on fire protection for your family, pets and property. If you need help with a hazard reduction burn please give us a call or talk to us at a future market. The brigade is in need of new blood so if you could be interested please give us a call. Our little group is often stretched to cope. Ph 6649 4712 or 0490 795 283 for info.
Halfway Creek RFS meetings are held at 7 pm on the first Monday each month and brigade training at 9 am on the 4th Sunday at the station in Lemon Tree Road adjacent the Coles Express Servo at Halfway Creek.
You can find the Halfway Creek Hall on the corner of the Pacific Highway and Kungala Rd in Halfway Creek (halfway between Grafton and Woolgoolga). If you are coming from the south turn into Kungala Rd just before the Benefield’s Rose farm.
